  • You provide: resume files (PDF, DOCX), profile data, job posts, email, name, login details, and payment info processed by Paystack/Stripe (Hervat does not store card numbers).
  • Automatically collected: IP address, device and browser data, usage logs, and events (uploads, clicks, matches).
  • From employers: job titles, company info, role requirements, skills data, and candidate evaluations.

How We Use Your Information

  • Provide resume analysis, AI-generated outputs, career or hiring insights, and matching algorithms.
  • Maintain account access, prevent fraud or abuse, and improve the platform and underlying models (with anonymised data where possible).
  • We do not sell personal information.

Sharing of Information

  • Shared with service providers (hosting, analytics, email providers, payment processors) when necessary.
  • Shared only if you choose to share an application link for a specific job.
  • Shared with law enforcement when legally required; used internally for debugging and operation.
  • We do not share raw resumes with third parties except when you opt in.

  • Resumes may be retained for service use until you delete them.
  • Reports and artifacts may be stored to maintain account history.
  • Logs may be retained for security and analytics.
  • You can request deletion via support or self-service tools when available.

  • Encryption in transit, restricted admin access, monitoring for abuse, rate limiting, and sandboxed file handling.
  • No system can guarantee absolute security.
